Biography, Administrative History and Provenance

en Maurice Goulet was born September 13, 1923 in Portland, Maine, attended St. Dom’s Lewiston High School. He lost his hand in 1942 while working at the Hyde Willis Company in Bath, Maine, worked at Brunswick Naval Air Station, and then was a special student at Bates College in 1945. He worked with Life/Group Insurance, Central Maine Broadcasting System, a Consulting/Construction Firm, and as a Real Estate Appraiser. He was appointed to the Planning Board under Roland Marcotte and was involved with the Housing Authority and the Zoning Board of Appeals. He owned WCME and made it an FM station.
