Biography, Administrative History and Provenance

en Larry Harpe was born on October 17, 1914 in Rumford, Maine. He was in the same class as Ed Muskie in the Rumford school system. He went on to become a welder, and served in the Navy during World War II. He has been very active in his community, and served as the Rumford Fire Chief for over twenty years.
