Biography, Administrative History and Provenance

en Paul Dionne was born in Lewiston, Maine in 1942. He attended Lewiston St. Peters, Lewiston High School, Kents Hill prep school for one year in 1960, and Providence College. He was a 2nd lieutenant in the army. He was at Fort Knox from 1967-69, and then Fort Gordon in Georgia. He then spent one year in Vietnam, receiving a Bronze Star. He went to Maine Law, graduating in 1972. He was on the finance board and later mayor of Lewiston from 1979-82. He then practiced litigation law and some criminal law for two years. He began his own firm in 1987. At the time of this interview he was Executive Director of the Worker’s Compensation Board.
