Transcript: Saint John the Baptist Society of Cohoes, NY Founded June 2, 1868 Incorporated March 7, 1872 (within the box with the shepherd, the words there translate as Of National Charity We the undersigned cerify by the present that Mr. Ulderic Blais was regularly admitted to be part of the Saint John the Baptist Society of National Charity of Cohoes, New York on July 7, 1909. The said association having been founded with the purpose of helping its members in times of difficulty, as well as establishing among French Canadians a social state advantageous to their well-being, commits to conserving the rights of the above mentioned member in keeping with the constitution, asking for his part faithfulness to its laws. In faith of which we the officers of the said Society have awarded to him the present certificate signed and duly vested with the seal of the Society. Wm Maisonneuve, President C.
