Consists of seventeen typewritten index cards containing marriage information about Abraham and Adaline (Boardway) Lezer/Leazer, some of their nine children and several of their grandchildren. Also included are cards for the burial of Abraham Lezer/Leazer, and historical information about the town of Barton, Vermont, where the family lived in 1850. Also contains an undated, 18-page genealogical compilation created by Dorothy A. Lund Nelson (added 2020).

Abraham Olivier Lezer/Leazer was born 25 September 1815 in St. Marie, Quebec, the son of Augustine Lezer/ Leazer (Lessard) and Marie Elizabeth (Isabelle) Binette. He died 14 March 1863 in Wolf Run Shoals, Virginia while serving with Company C of Vermont's 13th Infantry Regiment. Abraham married Adaline Boardway on 1 August 1835 at Salem, Vermont. Adaline Boardway was born 30 November 1814 at Yamachiche, Quebec, the daughter of Francois Xavier Beaudoin and Marie Catherine Bournival. She died 20 July 1868 in Barton, Vermont. Abraham and Adaline Leazer had nine children born in Vermont between 1839 and 1860.
