  Alfred Jacques was born on June 4, 1929 in Cohoes, NY to Theodore Jacques and Alice (Bisnett) Jacques. He was their only child. As an adult, Alfred worked for the D & H Railroad as an electrician. He married Evelyn Mary Hartshorn, and togeher they had 4 children, including Thomas A. Jacques, a proud member of the Federation Franco-Americaine du New York.
